New Pens!

Hi everyone. I was on the lookout for the perfect pen and decided to try out some coloured pens as I was browsing the stationery shop.
I came across these ones by Staedtler and I cannot recommend them enough.
Everything is designed so beautifully. The clear plastic case perfectly moulds to each pen and each pen snaps into its holder and stays there! You can throw the set in your bag and when you take it out, all the pens are still in their place!
The pen itself is designed simply in an ergonomic, triangular shape. I love its minimalist design.
Other pens can look so ugly with weird shapes, superfluous attachments and general bad design.
But this pen is different.
OK it’s not all about aesthetics (but they help!). How does the pen work?
As it’s designed ergonomically it feels very comfortable to hold. And because of its triangular shape, it’s perfect for rolling in your hand!
It has a 0.3mm head and I am a big fan of delicate nibs. It glides over the page with its inkyness. It’s more like a marker than a pen. Also I am told that it has Dry Safe technology, so the pen can be left uncapped for days without drying out.
Overall I am delighted with my new set of pens! I had used these pens in black before but the colour set really suits my work.
Here are some doodles I made with them that I hope to turn into some patterns!
What pens do you use? Any recommendations? ♡

I’m glad you’re having fun with these. I got my first pack in 2008 and have used them ever since! So reliable and lasting (although I have had to replace black a few times!! (; ) Aside from these I always swear by Letraset markers, again so reliable!

Hi Charlotte. Thanks for the reply. Wow, they last so long, so.
Yes I love Letraset too. I love the coverage they give.
