Hallowe’en On The Way!

Hi everyone. Hallowe’en is just around the corner, so I’ve made a little fun design for my facebook page.
Do you know that the 31st of October is the old Celtic New Year? It’s called Samhain in the Irish language (pronounced Sow-wan), and it marks the end of Summer and the beginning of Winter. It was also a time when the door to the otherworld was open to let the dead and living intermingle! Hallowe’en (also known as All Hallow’s Eve) grew out of this and that’s why it’s associated with ghosts and ghouls. ♡
