Hi everyone. I entered a competition with Tigerprint and the theme was ‘Coming Together at Christmas’. The design was inspired by our personal idea of Christmas.
My ‘Coming Together At Christmas‘ moment is shopping for decorations with my Mum. Every year we love looking at the new decorations and seeing the wide variety of tree designs.
Here are my four entries. Three are patterns and one is a placement print.
The designs for the trees came from a doodle I did for the Advent Doodle challenge run by Faye Brown of Faye Brown Designs.
And here are the original doodles that made up the pattern. ♡
Hi everyone. I have been busy decorating my house for Christmas. I hope you like it. ♡
This is the window in the living room. I love snow and this makes me think it’s snowing outside. Oh the weather outside is frightful!
I love eating my meals here with Christmas music playing in the background. Anyone for mulled wine and mince pies?
This is what I see from my studio table. Santa is looking down on me as I design!
I made this with a branch I picked up outside the house. I love snowflakes and Scandinavian design.
This is my living room. The main light is usually off and it’s very festive watching some Christmas films all snuggled up on the couch!
Santa is coming very soon, and he only comes to those who believe! Have you made a Christmas wish yet? ♡
Hi everyone. The Big Day is only 13 days away! How would you like to make this really simple but stylish Christmas tree?
Pop on over to In my Own Style where Diane will show you how. Have a knitting needle at the ready! ♡
Hi everyone. Yesterday I got a lovely surprise and one of my Christmas cards was featured on the Card and Gift Blog.
My Jolly Robins Christmas card was featured on a blog post titled Ten Cards for a Cute Christmas.
I’m so delighted. You can check it out here. Thank you Charlotte of Card and Gift Blog ♡
Hi everyone. Since I’m also a crafty kind of girl as well as a designer, I’m going to be making some Christmas decorations this year. I will be posting up tutorials in the next few weeks for cute Christmas crafts by myself and other crafty people. In the meantime take a look at this gorgeous tree by Lolly Chessie. You can check out the tutorial here ♡
Hi everyone. Happy Hallowe’en! I hope you have lots of spooky surprises in store! I have been so busy lately with everything. I’ve been entering competitions, working on my website shop (it’s still offline and hoping to get it up soon. Apologies.) I’ve also been moving house and will be putting up pictures soon of my new studio (corner of the kitchen!). Anyway hope you have a lovely time tonight, whatever you get up to ♡
Hi everyone. I spent the weekend on a photoshoot with Alan Devins Photography getting some great shots of my Christmas cards. My brother Alan is a talented photographer and here are some of the photos. I am so happy with them. My concept was cute and quirky and he captured this perfectly. I love the contrast of my colourful work with the neutral tones of nature.
