The Little White Book of Surface Pattern Designers

On 10, Jan 2013 | No Comments | In ABSPD, business, designer, inspiration, my work | By Tina

Hi everyone. I’ve had such a lovely week’s holiday with my family and spending time playing with my niece and (brand new!) nephew. I will tell you all about them in a few days but for now I would like to tell you a little bit of what I’ve been up to.

I am involved with a fantastic group of Surface Pattern Designers, most of whom took part in the Art & Business of Surface Pattern Design run by Rachael Taylor and Beth Nicholls.

One of the members, Gill Eggleston of Pattern Addict, organised an EFUTO Envelope Project a number of weeks ago. (You can read my post about the EFUTO project here). She painstakingly compiled our EFUTO envelopes into a database entitled The Little White Book of Surface Pattern Designers.

It’s a fantastic idea and a one-stop shop for finding new design talent. Here is my entry, which can be found on page 51.

Hi everyone. I am celebrating having (over, as I speak) 100 Facebook likes! I am so delighted that I’ve reached this milestone. It means my business is growing and that people want to connect with me.

I’ve made a little design to celebrate this. Thank you all for liking my page and supporting me. It means a lot. The more people that like your page, the more people will see it and the more business you should make. So every like means a lot to small businesses.

Thank you
